Best Overall Verizon Unlimited Plan

Our favorite Verizon unlimited plan is Unlimited Plus. At $80/month, this plan strikes a good balance between features and cost. That is to say, Unlimited Plus gives you a fair amount for the price, including 30GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data per month, Mexico and Canada privileges, and most importantly, unlimited premium data. That means you can use as much data as you want, without hitting any pesky deprioritization thresholds. 

As with all of Verizon’s unlimited plans, you can supplement Unlimited Plus with any extra perks you want via the carrier’s myPlan system, including streaming bundles, TravelPass days, and more hotspot data. 

Best Verizon Unlimited Family Plan

Looking for an unlimited plan for the whole family? Verizon is one of the few carriers that allows you to mix and match plans when you sign up for multiple lines, so each person can pick their own plan. However, if you want to keep things simple by choosing one plan for all, we think the best option for today’s data-consuming families is Unlimited Ultimate. 

Not only does Unlimited Ultimate include unlimited premium data—great for a family of mobile streamers—but a huge 60GB hotspot data allowance. It’s hard to imagine anyone in your group being disappointed with the plan—after all, it’s the premium offering from the nation’s largest carrier. 

Unlimited Ultimate costs $90/month for one line, but thanks to multi-line discounts, it drops in price as you add lines. Signing up for 2 lines takes the price per line down to $80/month, three lines takes it down to $65/month, and four lines brings it to $55/month. 

Best Cheap Verizon Unlimited Plan

If you’re looking for a relatively cheap way to jump aboard the Verizon network, we recommend going with the Unlimited Welcome plan. As the carrier’s most stripped-down unlimited offering, it doesn’t include any premium data—all of its unlimited data is deprioritized—nor any additional mobile hotspot data. However, it does come with the backing of one of the fastest and most reliable networks in the country, and you can add additional perks to your plan via Verizon myPlan.

However, where Verizon does have 5G coverage, you can expect super-fast speeds.
