On January 22, 2025, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S25 lineup, including the base S25, S25 Plus, and the S25 Ultra with pre-orders that day and shipping starting on February 7, 2025. On February 19, 2025, Apple announced the newest member of the family, and it wasn't the iPhone SE4 as expected. Instead, Apple unveiled a budget-friendly addition to the iPhone 16 lineup—the iPhone 16e—with pre-orders beginning February 21, 2025 and shipping starting on February 28, 2025.

Apple’s new iPhone 17 series of devices is expected to hit the streets in September. Based on early rumors, it seems that the 17 will break from the design of iPhones past, with a horizontal camera arrangement and more aluminum across the back of the devices. Apple is sure to pack the new devices with lots of processing power, and introduce new Apple Intelligence features.

The Google Pixel 9a, the company’s budget-friendly offering, is set to hit the market in October of 2025. The new device is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display at 120Hz, Google’s fast Tensor G4 processor, and a 6.3-inch OLED display. Best of all, they’ll be priced much more affordably than the company’s expensive Pixel flagship phones.

Google is expected to drop its new Pixel 10 series in October 2025. Google tends to lead the pack in terms of AI features and camera technology, and the Pixel 10 series should be no different. The phones should be incredibly fast, thanks to Google’s newest Tensor chipset, the G5.

Samsung’s newest generation of foldable devices should hit the market in late summer of 2025. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 proved as popular as they were innovative, so it’ll be interesting to see where Samsung takes the new 7 series of devices.
