Release Date: February 21, 2025

On February 19, 2025, Apple announced the newest member of the family, and it wasn't the iPhone SE4 as expected. Instead, Apple unveiled a budget-friendly addition to the iPhone 16 lineup—the iPhone 16e—with pre-orders beginning February 21, 2025 and shipping starting on February 28, 2025.

Apple’s new iPhone 17 series of devices is expected to hit the streets in September. Google is expected to drop its new Pixel 10 series in October 2025. Google tends to lead the pack in terms of AI features and camera technology, and the Pixel 10 series should be no different. The phones should be incredibly fast, thanks to Google’s newest Tensor chipset, the G5.

Expected release date: August 2025
