If you have Xfinity Internet service, you can take advantage of Xfinity Mobile’s low-cost unlimited data offerings. The carrier offers two unlimited plans: the entry-level Unlimited ($40/month), and the mid-level Premium Unlimited ($50/month). Both include guaranteed premium data (30GB and 100GB respectively), while Premium Unlimited also features dedicated high-speed hotspot data. Xfinity Mobile runs on Verizon’s formidable national network, so their plans come backed by reliable 4G or 5G coverage throughout the United States.
In this article, we’ll discuss our favorite Xfinity Mobile plan (Premium Unimited), and tell you why the carrier’s lower-priced option, Unlimited, is worth considering as well. We’ll also give you the ins and outs of Xfinity Mobile’s coverage and perks.
Our favorite Xfinity Mobile unlimited plan is Premium Unlimited. At $50/month, the plan offers a good value for the money, including as it does 100GB of guaranteed premium data, in addition to 30GB of dedicated high-speed mobile hotspot data. Note that this plan replaces Xfinity's Unlimited Plus plan, which has been grandfathered (as of April 15, 2025).
As with Xfinity Mobile’s other unlimited plan, once you exceed your monthly premium data allowance on Premium Unlimited, your data will be subject to deprioritization and potential slowing. However, 100GB is quite a lot of data, and if you use WiFi at least some of the time (which is easy to do with the many Xfinity Mobile WiFi hotspots throughout the country), it’s unlikely you’ll hit that threshold.
If you’re looking for a less expensive Xfinity Mobile unlimited plan, your option will be the carrier’s Unlimited plan. At $40/month, it’s $10 cheaper than Premium Unlimited. It features 30GB of premium data, along with an unlimited hotspot at 3G speeds. If you anticipate staying connected to WiFi most of the time and don’t rely on your phone’s hotspot very often—3G speeds can be very slow—this plan should suit you just fine.
Unlike competitor Spectrum Mobile, Xfinity Mobile offers competitive multi-line discounts when you sign up for multiple lines. If you plan on signing up multiple members of your family, we recommend going with the aforementioned Premium Unlimited.
Premium Unlimited goes down to $40/month per line when you add two lines, and just $35/month when you add four. But the real benefit of Premium Unlimited is all that premium data (50GB) it includes—which is crucial when you have a family full of streamers or gamers.
Like many of its MVNO competitors, Xfinity Mobile keeps its plans perk-free in an effort to keep their costs down. That means Xfinity Mobile plans lack both streaming subscription add-ons and international privileges.
For this reason, we recommend looking into plans from major carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile if you’re interested in extras. However, if you’re willing to sacrifice these add-ons, you’ll save big by going with Xfinity Mobile.
Xfinity Mobile runs on Verizon’s national network, giving their customers access to the same great 4G LTE and 5G coverage.
Verizon’s 4G coverage network ranks second in area covered behind AT&T, while its 5G network is two spots behind T-Mobile and AT&T. Where Verizon does have 5G coverage, you can expect super-fast speeds, as Verizon has focused the build-out of its 5G network on its super-fast 5G Ultra Wideband.
